Lecturae Boccaccii or, the Decameron's Days in Perspective

In 1983, members of the American Boccaccio Association resolved to create a lectura series of all the Decameron's tales based on the analogous model so common in Dante Studies. The concept envisioned a hundred scholarly essays, one for each novella, grouped by giornata into a ten-volume set. The first in the series was edited by Elissa Weaver and published by the University of Toronto Press in 2004. Ten years later, ABA and UTP agreed on the completion of the project. The remaining days were assigned in 2014 to editors who would carry on simultaneously. The current status of each volume is noted below:
